Hi! I’m Baron, formerly known as Mostly Mutts’ Superman. Thanks to owner Cheryl Hill and everyone involved in Mostly Mutts, I started 2021 healthy, strong and ready to find my forever home.

In January, Gene and Louise applied to Mostly Mutts to adopt a small male dog to join their pack. They were looking for a dog who would be happy playing with their other dogs, would enjoy being a lap dog at times, and would not terrorize their cats. On a cold, windy day, they came to the shelter. I went from barking at them to cuddling in Gene’s arms and being petted by Louise. After meeting me and several other Mutts, and getting helpful information from Cheryl, they chose ME!

On March 17, 2021, I moved to my forever home, out in the country. I joined my new family and officially became Baron. I was timid at first, but then I ran inside and jumped right up on Gene’s chair. After some sniffing and introductions, I felt comfortable in a pack of both large and small dogs. Now, I love to run in the big fenced yard with my dog siblings, and we are best friends. I chew and chase toys, especially the ones that people think are too big for me! I say hello to the cats occasionally, and follow my humans everywhere. After running around, I enjoy resting on dog beds, chairs and people’s laps.

All of this was made possible by Mostly Mutts. Thank you to Cheryl and to everyone who volunteers, donates or in any way supports Mostly Mutts. Remember, tell everyone you know, “Adopt, don’t shop!” Mutts are the best!
