All of the information about the dogs is current. The website is updated weekly with new information and with new dogs when they become available for adoption. There are some dogs at the shelter that are not on the website yet because they have not been spayed or neutered or have had shots, so are not yet available. All of the Mutts ages are current as of January 2023 unless otherwise specified in their description. Click on the thumbnail for a larger photo. I’m Abel and Kane are brothers and have lived together their entire lives, so they must be adopted together. They are very sweet boys, and are missing their owner who unfortunately passed away. They know basic commands, are housebroken and walk well on a leash. Born on 5/22/14. Abel is sponsored by Fred and Rita Klock.
Addam would be a very loyal dog, because he stays close to whoever he is with. He is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, knows the sit command and seems okay with female dogs. Addam is a young dog with lots of energy, but will settle down when he is getting attention. He does not care for car rides.
Baylor is a great older, happy dog. He gets along with most other dogs and enjoys going for walks. Baylor is a true beagle with his nose to the ground, sniffing and snorting when on a walk. He also has a slight stubborn streak when he is on a scent and wants to go his own direction. Baylor is housebroken. Baylor is sponsored by Diane Knorr.
Boomerang is a handsome guy who loves attention. He has that typical Lab energy and loves squeaky toys. Boomerang knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is housebroken. He would need some training inside the house to not take food off the counter or table. Would prefer someone with dog experience and a household with no small children. Buffy is a beautiful young lady with lots of energy and loves to play with toys. In fact she always has a favorite toy and carries it with her everywhere. She loves people, but will need time to get used to you. Buffy walks well on a leash and is housebroken. She needs to be an only dog. Breed knowledge would be preferred. She was born on 5/20/2021.
Burl is a true beagle, nose to the ground while going for a walk. He walks on a leash and is housebroken. He enjoys spending time outside so a fenced in yard is recommended, as his nose may get him in trouble. Burl doesn’t care for other dogs in his space, so being an only dog may be best. Celeste loves to snuggle and is also very playful. Her siblings are Zephyr, Widget, and Brianne. She will need some work with housebreaking and walking on a leash. She does not care for car rides. Born 7/24/20.
Chanel is a very energetic young lady who loves to be with people. Not sure how she is with other dogs. Chanel is a strong dog but walks well on a leash. She knows basic commands and is housebroken. Chanel is sponsored by Cindy Shamp “In Memory Of Cayenne & Guinness”.
Dobby is a loving boy with lots of energy, loves toys and car rides. He walks well on a leash and is housebroken. Since Dobby and Eggo came from the same household they need to be adopted together, but with no other dogs. Because they are climbers, a fenced in yard is not necessary. Knowledge of the breed would be preferred.
Ducky is a handsome little guy with lots of personality. He is very intelligent and is housebroken. Ducky enjoys running around in the play yard but will need work with the harness and walking on a leash. He doesnt share food and toys so will need to be the only dog in the household. Knowledge of the breed is preferred.
Eggo has crazy energy, loves toys and enjoys car rides. She walks well on a leash and is housebroken. Since Eggo and Dobby came from the same household they need to be adopted together, but with no other dogs. Because they are climbers, a fenced in yard is not necessary. Flurry is a pretty girl with LOTS of energy. She LOVES people and needs an active family that will walk and play with her. Flurry is good with other dogs, walks well on a leash, and is housebroken. She has lived most of her life in a shed so will need to be acclimated to a life in a home which shouldn’t be much of a problem because she always wants to be with people.
Gisele is a young lady with lots of energy. She loves to play fetch with her favorite toy. Gisele knows basic commands, is crate trained, walks well on a leash, is housebroken and good with some other dogs. Gisele does have some separation anxiety so may do better with someone who is home more. Gisele is sponsored by Ron and Coleen Renshaw.
Gnarley is a handsome guy who loves riding in the car and is housebroken. He is very friendly and loves people. He likes to tear up toys so harder toys would be best to keep him busy. Gnarley is very strong and needs to learn some leash manners. Due to his strength and size, would recommend a home with no small children. Gnarley may be best as an only pet. Gringo is a big, strong boy and is full of energy. His size can be a little intimidating, especially with small children. He seems to get along with most other dogs and is housebroken. He definitely needs work with walking on a leash and would benefit from obedience training. Gringo does not share food or like other dogs near his dish. Gringo is sponsored by Jim and Terry Specht.
Hector is very energetic and likes lots of attention. He does not care for most other dogs. Hector walks well on a leash, is housebroken and is crate trained. A home without small children would be best.

JayJay is a nice boy who needs some time to get to know people, but once he does he is very friendly and affectionate. He has lots of energy and enjoys his squeaky toys. He is okay with female dogs, walks well on a leash and is housebroken.
Jiggles cuteness just melts your heart. Jiggles is a busy little boy and a bundle of energy. He will definitely need to be kept busy and have a “job”. He is housebroken and enjoys running around the play yard, but also likes to go for walks. Jiggles is protective of toys and food so it is recommended that he be the only dog. Also does not do well with cats. Knowledge of the breed is also preferred. Jiggles was born on April 7, 2022.
Kamari has lots of energy. He loves to play with toys and also plays ball. He needs some extra time to warm up to people, but is friendly once he knows you. Kamari is good with other dogs and is housebroken. He will need work with leash walking. He would benefit from basic obedience training.

Lavelle has lots of energy and will need basic obedience training. He does know the sit command and is learning to walk on a leash. He loves to run around in the play yard and fetch squeaky toys. Not sure how he is with other dogs. Lavelle is housebroken and enjoys car rides.

Remi is a beautiful lady who is a bit reserved and shy around new people. She needs time to become trusting of people. Remi is crate trained, walks well on a leash and is housebroken. Rochelle is a young girl with lots of energy who will need basic obedience training and work with walking on a leash. She is a little shy and will need extra time to get used to people. Rochelle loves to play with toys. She is housebroken.

Squiggy has lots of energy and loves squeaky toys. He was not very well socialized when he came to MM and had a lot of behavioral issues, but he has come a long way since then. Todd is a handsome boy with lots of energy. He loves to play ball and knows basic commands. Todd is extremely friendly with people he knows and gives hugs. He is good with most other dogs, housebroken and learning to walk on a leash. Some days however he will not even let volunteers hook him up on a leash so a fenced in yard may be best for now because of the leash issue. But he will need to be comfortable on a leash at some point due to the necessity of vet visits, emergency situations, etc. So he will need someone willing and patient to work with him on a leash.
