Patty

Bio:

Patty

Patty was in your rescue (Mostly Mutts) with the name of “Sonic” years ago. Her original family came to your facility looking for a dog and discovered her there. They said her name was Penny, and ended up taking her back.

Friends of mine found her roaming the streets of Sunbury at the end of 2016. They brought her to the Sunbury Animal Hospital where staff attempted to find her family. My friends got a phone call in 2017 from the animal hospital saying that they located her family, but they didn’t want her anymore. My friends were given the option to either come get her or they would have to put her down. Naturally, my friends went and got her, and they asked if I wanted to take care of her.

Now named Patty, we’ve had her since April 9, 2017. Patty is an absolute joy in our lives. She’s pampered here, and given all of the attention that she missed out on in her earlier years.

FINDING FUREVER HOMES

All of the information about the dogs is current. The website is updated weekly with new information and with new dogs when they become available for adoption. There are additional dogs at the shelter that are not on the website yet because they still need to be spayed/neutered and receive their vaccinations. All of the Mutts’ ages are current as of January 2024 unless otherwise specified in their description.

If you are looking for a specific kind of dog that isn’t shown, please call Cheryl at 570-988 -6483. She gets many phone calls a day about dogs that need homes, so we may be able to help you find the dog you’re looking for. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please read our Adoption Process on the Forms page, then fill out the Adoption Application. Any of these dogs may also be sponsored. To sponsor a dog, please visit the Forms page and fill out a Sponsorship form.

A Little extra TlC

Some of our canine residents have sadly lived all or most of their lives at Mostly Mutts. They may be older or have special needs, and are loved by the volunteers, but they still deserve a chance at a loving forever family. Please consider adopting or sponsoring one of these deserving dogs. Your sponsorship helps keep our older and special needs dogs healthy and comfortable.
