Justin

Bio:

I just wanted to give Mostly Mutts an update on our Justin (we kept his name from the kennel when we rescued him in 2013 so as not to confuse him). Although he has many names, his momma calls him Scooby Doo, Sugar Butt, and I call him Muscle Butt and Tank … which I am sure anyone who ever took him for a walk would understand. He loves to just push his way into whatever he feels he wants!

He has been spoiled to death, which we call “extra special” so not to make him feel too bad! We love our Justin and consider him our son. He loves picking on his sister Gracie until she “snaps” on him, then he walks away wagging his tail … quite the bear poker! And that comes with the Jack Russell, but I wouldn’t want him any other way.

Of course the JRT has gotten him into trouble, which entails eating three Bergenstock sandals of his momma’s for attention. So after the third shoe, his momma figured out to put them up high enough so he couldn’t get them.

He is our cuddle bug and we love him to death … he has found his forever home indeed!
Thanks, again, Mostly Mutts!

FINDING FUREVER HOMES

All of the information about the dogs is current. The website is updated weekly with new information and with new dogs when they become available for adoption. There are additional dogs at the shelter that are not on the website yet because they still need to be spayed/neutered and receive their vaccinations. All of the Mutts’ ages are current as of January 2024 unless otherwise specified in their description.

If you are looking for a specific kind of dog that isn’t shown, please call Cheryl at 570-988 -6483. She gets many phone calls a day about dogs that need homes, so we may be able to help you find the dog you’re looking for. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please read our Adoption Process on the Forms page, then fill out the Adoption Application. Any of these dogs may also be sponsored. To sponsor a dog, please visit the Forms page and fill out a Sponsorship form.

A Little extra TlC

Some of our canine residents have sadly lived all or most of their lives at Mostly Mutts. They may be older or have special needs, and are loved by the volunteers, but they still deserve a chance at a loving forever family. Please consider adopting or sponsoring one of these deserving dogs. Your sponsorship helps keep our older and special needs dogs healthy and comfortable.
