Buckeye

Bio:

Buckeye joined our family in February 2018 at the ripe old age of 3 1/2 years.  She has brought much joy to my husband and myself.  She is a loving dog, who lets you know when she hasn’t had enough love by jumping into your lap and hanging her head down.  Buckeye loves riding in the car, so everywhere we go, she comes along.  She has traveled with us to several states, enjoying her time in new hotels.  She is the typical beagle, she makes you feel guilty with her sad eyes, however, she is happy as a lark.  Everyday, we take her to the bark park, where she plays with her boyfriend, Winston, a Daschund and her other friends.  We are so thankful to Mostly Mutts for providing us with the opportunity to have her in our family.

FINDING FUREVER HOMES

All of the information about the dogs is current. The website is updated weekly with new information and with new dogs when they become available for adoption. There are additional dogs at the shelter that are not on the website yet because they still need to be spayed/neutered and receive their vaccinations. All of the Mutts’ ages are current as of January 2024 unless otherwise specified in their description.

If you are looking for a specific kind of dog that isn’t shown, please call Cheryl at 570-988 -6483. She gets many phone calls a day about dogs that need homes, so we may be able to help you find the dog you’re looking for. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please read our Adoption Process on the Forms page, then fill out the Adoption Application. Any of these dogs may also be sponsored. To sponsor a dog, please visit the Forms page and fill out a Sponsorship form.

A Little extra TlC

Some of our canine residents have sadly lived all or most of their lives at Mostly Mutts. They may be older or have special needs, and are loved by the volunteers, but they still deserve a chance at a loving forever family. Please consider adopting or sponsoring one of these deserving dogs. Your sponsorship helps keep our older and special needs dogs healthy and comfortable.
