Niblet (now Brady)

Bio:

Here’s an update on Brady, aka Niblet.  We started dog training classes the first week that Brady came to live with us in January 2014.  At first very shy, he gravitated more towards the other people in the class than the other dogs.  Over the next few months though, he began to come out of his shell, and by April earned his Good Canine Citizen certificate.  Seeing what a friendly pup he was, Connie Cuff encouraged us to pursue getting him certified as a therapy dog, and he recently passed his test in September!  He has enjoyed visiting with students at Bucknell University and residents at Grayson View senior living home.   Also, he has a great time with our kids and their friends, and has become a part of the family.

FINDING FUREVER HOMES

All of the information about the dogs is current. The website is updated weekly with new information and with new dogs when they become available for adoption. There are additional dogs at the shelter that are not on the website yet because they still need to be spayed/neutered and receive their vaccinations. All of the Mutts’ ages are current as of January 2024 unless otherwise specified in their description.

If you are looking for a specific kind of dog that isn’t shown, please call Cheryl at 570-988 -6483. She gets many phone calls a day about dogs that need homes, so we may be able to help you find the dog you’re looking for. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please read our Adoption Process on the Forms page, then fill out the Adoption Application. Any of these dogs may also be sponsored. To sponsor a dog, please visit the Forms page and fill out a Sponsorship form.

A Little extra TlC

Some of our canine residents have sadly lived all or most of their lives at Mostly Mutts. They may be older or have special needs, and are loved by the volunteers, but they still deserve a chance at a loving forever family. Please consider adopting or sponsoring one of these deserving dogs. Your sponsorship helps keep our older and special needs dogs healthy and comfortable.
