SUMMARY:GIVING TUESDAY NOW
DESCRIPTION:Mostly Mutts will be participating in GivingTuesdayNow on Tuesday\, May 5th to make sure we have the resources needed to take care of the dogs at the shelter.  You can help!\nGivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity\, set to take place as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. The day is designed to drive an influx of generosity\, citizen engagement\, business and philanthropy activation\, and support for communities and nonprofits around the world. \nDue to the PA “Stay at Home\,” social distancing guidelines\, and general health concerns\, many of our crucial upcoming fundraisers have been canceled or postponed.  Events impacted to date include Woof & Wine\, Bikers for Barkers\, our annual golf tournament\, and the Weis Markets Paws for Pets\, among others.  In previous years\, these events have generated approximately $20\,000 in income that helped keep our dogs well cared for and healthy. \nExpenses for veterinary services\, medications\, food\, and shelter maintenance and operations continue regardless of that loss of income.  That’s why we’re asking for your help. \nIt’s only through the generosity of our local community donors and supporters that we can continue to care for our shelter dogs.  You can help Mostly Mutts by donating through PayPal via our website\, https://mostlymuttsonline.com/\, or sending  a check to Mostly Mutts\, 284 Little Mountain Rd\, Sunbury PA 17801. \nPlease do not forget about the animals during this pandemic.  They cannot speak for themselves\, so we need to be there for them. \nAll donations are greatly appreciated during this time of crisis.    Please stay safe and healthy!
